What You’ll Do

As the Quotation & Estimating Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our high-end architectural lighting projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking and Prioritizing Workload: Keep quotation projects on schedule by managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Reviewing Architectural Drawings: Analyze drawings and specifications to develop accurate and complete lighting quotations.
  • Collaborating with the Design Team: Work closely with our internal design team to ensure all specifications align with the design intent and provide valuable feedback between manufacturers and designers.
  • Coordinating with Manufacturers and Reps: Gather precise product and pricing information to deliver top-notch quotations.
  • Maintaining Organized Documentation: Keep clear records and project tracking for all jobs to ensure seamless execution.
What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in construction estimating, quotations, or project coordination (lighting or electrical experience preferred).
  • Project Management Skills: The ability to handle multiple complex projects without compromising on detail.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication with contractors, vendors, and team members.
  • Organizational Excellence: Highly effective systems for tracking and prioritizing work.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, and experience with QuickBooks or similar systems.
