LES TACHES QUE VOUS ALLEZ ACCOMPLIR

Dans votre role d'ingenieur systemes avioniques DAD, vous serez responsable de l'execution de diverses taches liees au developpement, aux essais, a la certification, a la production et au soutien en service des systemes avioniques d'aeronefs d'affaires de derniere generation.

Plus precisement :

    • Etre responsable et soutenir l'integration en temps voulu des systemes tels que : AFCS, communications (VHF, HF, SATCOM, liaison de donnees), navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, transpondeur, IRS, GPS, FMS, radar meteo), affichage (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), ainsi que les systemes d'information/maintenance et d'enregistrement (IMS, OMS, chargement de donnees, CVR, FDR, AHMS), etc., sur l'aeronef
    • Soutenir la definition et la gestion des exigences globales des systemes et sous-systemes afin d'assurer la conformite aux exigences de securite, de certification et de conception de l'aeronef
    • Collaborer avec les fournisseurs de systemes ainsi que les autres fournisseurs et disciplines impliques dans le programme afin de garantir une conception adequate du systeme pour une integration harmonieuse sur l'aeronef et le respect des exigences de certification
    • Participer ou assister a certains essais de certification, inspections et/ou audits
    • Examiner et approuver les rapports de conformite au nom de SOGECLAIR, conformement aux plans de certification approuves
    • Assurer le maintien de la navigabilite des systemes avioniques conformement aux reglementations, normes et guides applicables
    • Approuver et recommander les plans de certification au nom de SOGECLAIR afin d'obtenir l'acceptation des autorites reglementaires concernant les moyens et methodes de conformite ainsi que le niveau d'implication
    • Soutenir la chaine d'assemblage final et les aeronefs en service pour tout probleme lie a la conception et assurer leur resolution
    • Participer au developpement et a la mise en uvre des outils et processus necessaires a la fonction afin d'atteindre les objectifs organisationnels

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

In your role as an Avionics Systems DAD, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the development, testing, certification, production, and in-service support of Avionics Systems of state-of-the-art business aircraft.

More specifically:

    • Be responsible and support the timely integration of systems, such as AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), Information/Maintenance & Recording (IMS, OMS, Data load, CVR, FDR, AHMS), etc. on the aircraft.
    • Support the definition and management of the overall systems and subsystems requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met
    • Work with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft and meet certification requirements
    • Witness or participate in selected certification tests, inspections, and/or audits
    • Review and Approve Compliance Reports on behalf of SOGECLAIR in accordance with approved Certification Plans
    • Ensure aircraft avionics airworthiness is maintained per required regulations, regulatory standards, and guidance material
    • Approve and recommend Certification Plans on behalf of SOGECLAIR to secure regulatory authority acceptance of Means and Methods of Compliance and Level of Involvement
    • Support the Final Assembly Line and In Service Aircrafts for any design related issues and bring them to closure
    • Participate in the development and implementation of tools and processes as needed by the function to meet our organizational objectives

Requirements

VOTRE PROFIL EST ESSENTIEL A NOTRE REUSSITE 

  • Vous detenez un diplome universitaire en genie electrique, electronique, logiciel, aerospatial ou equivalent
  • Le statut actuel ou en voie d'obtention de DAD / DAR est un atout (vous avez satisfait aux exigences de Transports Canada AWM 505 Delegation of Authority 505.409)
  • Vous connaissez et entretenez des relations de travail avec Transports Canada (TCCA), l'EASA ou la FAA
  • Vous possedez une bonne connaissance des reglementations de navigabilite civile FAR Part 25 applicables aux avioniques ainsi que des documents de reference industriels (RTCA et ARP) relatifs aux exigences de certification avionique pour le TCCA, l'EASA et la FAA
  • Vous avez une experience approfondie en conception de systemes, essais et certification des systemes avioniques : pilote automatique, communications, navigation (incluant FMS), systemes d'indication/enregistrement, systemes de maintenance embarques, etc.
  • Vous avez des connaissances et/ou de l'experience avec les systemes avioniques modulaires integres (IMA)
  • Vous etes familier avec les normes industrielles DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, ARP4754 et ARP4761
  • Vous possedez de solides competences en communication, tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit
  • Vous avez d'excellentes capacites de resolution de problemes, de planification et de priorisation
  • Vous etes capable de travailler efficacement en equipe
  • Vous etes dispose a voyager.

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

    • You hold a university degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
    • Current or candidate-for DAD / DAR status preferred. (Has met the requirements of Transport Canada AWM 505 "Delegation of Authority" 505.409).
    • You are familiar with and have a working relationship with TCCA, EASA or FAA.
    • You are knowledgeable with civil airworthiness FAR Part 25 avionics regulations and industry advisory material including RTCA and ARP documents for applicable TCCA, EASA and FAA avionics certification requirements.
    • You have extensive working experience with system design, test and certification requirements of aircraft auto flight, communication, navigation including FMS, indicating/recording systems, onboard maintenance systems, etc.
    • Knowledge and/or Experience in Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems.
    • You are familiar with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, ARP4754 and ARP4761.
    • You have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
    • You have excellent problem-solving skills, work planning structure and prioritization.
    • You can work well in a team environment.
    • You are willing to travel.
