Job description

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations
  • Pull, check, and verify customer orders for accuracy.
  • Prepare, pack, and route merchandise for shipment via UPS, FedEx, truck line, or courier.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Route Driver 
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver compressed gas cylinders and hard goods to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Complete all required DOT/FDA documentation accurately.
  • Track deliveries and pickups using handheld technology.
  • Return empty cylinders for refilling and maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding maintenance, delivery efficiencies, and customer concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional interactions.
  • Identify customer needs and help ensure appropriate inventory levels to minimize emergency deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One (1) year driving experience.
  • CDL A or B with HAZMAT.
  • Employee must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by the DOT.
  • Clean MVR driving record.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on concrete for an extended period of time, bend, use hands and arms, must be able to handle cylinders regularly weighing 150 pounds, up to a maximum of 600 pounds. The employee also occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and hazardous materials and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
