    Looking for an experienced Night Warehouse Manager with strong supervision, surveillance and multi-tasking skills to manage a fast paced 2nd shift warehouse environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:




    • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

    • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

    • Lead through FDA, Food Safety Modernization Act, USDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Bio-Terrorism processes/audits /inspections.

    • Ensure that all warehouse sanitation, safety and security activities are consistently performed within OSHA and other government compliance, and industry standards.

    • Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met. Train staff and monitor their performance and progress

    • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders, consumption reports and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.

    • Control of overages/shortages ensuring proper product is picked, pulled & loaded for customers

    • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

    • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

    • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

    • Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. (and occasionally in excess of 75 lbs.)

    • Additional job duties/responsibilities as assigned.


    Pay is commensurate with experience ranging from 60-70k per year


    Qualifications:

    Knowledge of applicable regulations: FMCSA, DOT, OSHA & Safety Compliance.

    3+ years experience working in Food Distribution

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Thorough knowledge and understanding of shipping logistics and time management skills,personal service and production and processing.
