To thrive as an FCC Licensed Radio Operator, you need a solid understanding of radio frequency communication, electronic principles, and must obtain the appropriate FCC license (such as a General Radiotelephone Operator License or Amateur Radio License). Familiarity with radio transmitters, receivers, spectrum analyzers, and compliance software is typically required.
