Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flux-Cored Arc Welders for projects located in or around Starke, FL. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Perform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on structural steel
  • Produce quality welds in flat and flat-fillet positions
  • Read and interpret structural drawings
  • Measure and lay out materials according to specifications
  • Tack weld structural assemblies prior to final weld-out
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting production requirements
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure completed welds and assemblies meet project standards

Requirements:

  • Must have structural steel welding experience
  • Must be proficient in FCAW welding
  • Must be able to pass a vertical-up FCAW weld test
  • Must be able to read and interpret structural drawings
  • Must have experience measuring, laying out, and assembling structural steel components
  • Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to meet production requirements
