ABOUT INTELLISOURCE
IntelliSource is a national outsourcing partner specializing in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), and Total Talent Management. With deep roots in high-volume fulfillment, distribution, and manufacturing operations, IntelliSource delivers end-to-end solutions that drive measurable results - on time and on target. We bring the sophistication of a national firm with the responsiveness of a regional partner.
ABOUT THE ROLE
IntelliSource is seeking a seasoned Training Supervisor to take full training ownership of a fulfillment and distribution center on a fixed-term contract engagement. This is a high-impact, project-based role designed for a proven training leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and is looking for a structured contract opportunity with a clear end date, competitive compensation, and an attainable completion bonus.
The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading, developing, and executing training programs that support operational excellence within an e-commerce fulfillment environment. This role ensures new hires, existing associates, leads, and frontline team members are effectively trained on operational processes, safety standards, productivity expectations, quality requirements, systems usage, and customer service standards. The Training Supervisor partners closely with Operations, HR, Safety, Quality, Workforce Management, and site leadership to ensure training programs support business needs, improve associate readiness, reduce errors, increase productivity, and create a consistent onboarding experience across the operation.
Contract Duration: Immediate start through an estimated date on or around December 31, 2026 with final dates based on business demands. Project completion bonus equivalent to 20% of total salary paid upon meeting specific project milestones or the final delivery.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Training Program Execution
    • Lead the development and delivery of training programs for e-commerce fulfillment operations, including inbound, outbound, picking, packing, shipping, returns, inventory, quality, safety, and equipment-related processes.
    • Facilitate new hire orientation and operational onboarding to ensure associates understand expectations, policies, safety protocols, attendance standards, performance metrics, and workplace culture.
    • Train associates on standard operating procedures, work instructions, system tools, scanning processes, productivity expectations, quality standards, and customer-impacting requirements.
    • Ensure training content is accurate, current, consistent, and aligned with operational workflows and business priorities.
  • Operational Training & Floor Support
    • Partner with Operations leadership to identify training needs based on performance trends, productivity gaps, quality errors, safety incidents, attendance concerns, and process changes.
    • Provide hands-on floor training, coaching, and reinforcement to associates and trainers.
    • Support ramp-up periods, peak season hiring, new process launches, system changes, and new customer or business requirements.
    • Ensure associates are certified or validated before being released to work independently in assigned roles.
  • Leadership & Trainer Management
    • Supervise, coach, and develop trainers, training coordinators, or peer trainers as assigned.
    • Assign daily training responsibilities and ensure training coverage aligns with staffing plans, new hire volumes, and operational priorities.
    • Monitor trainer effectiveness and provide feedback to improve facilitation, coaching, consistency, and associate engagement.
    • Build a positive training culture focused on accountability, safety, quality, speed, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance, Safety & Quality
    • Ensure all training supports company policies, safety standards, OSHA requirements, equipment certification requirements, and customer-specific compliance needs.
    • Reinforce safe work behaviors, proper material handling practices, ergonomic standards, and incident prevention expectations.
    • Partner with Safety and Quality teams to address recurring issues through targeted retraining and root-cause analysis.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of completed training, certifications, retraining, safety acknowledgments, and skills validation.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Track and report training metrics, including new hire completion, time-to-productivity, certification status, quality performance, safety completion, retraining activity, and associate readiness.
    • Analyze operational performance trends to identify where training can improve UPH, accuracy, attendance, retention, safety, and overall productivity.
    • Recommend improvements to training materials, onboarding structure, job aids, process guides, and training delivery methods.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve associate performance, reduce turnover, and create consistency across departments and shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required
    • 2+ years of training, leadership, operations, or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, or high-volume operational environment.
    • Experience training frontline associates in a fast-paced production or fulfillment setting.
    • Strong understanding of warehouse or e-commerce fulfillment operations, including productivity, quality, safety, attendance, and labor planning metrics.
    • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
    • Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work on the floor for extended periods and support multiple departments or shifts as needed.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, learning systems, warehouse systems, or reporting tools.
  • Preferred
    • Experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, 3PL, retail distribution, or high-volume peak season operations.
    • Prior supervisory experience leading trainers, team leads, or hourly associates.
    • Experience with LMS platforms, WMS systems, productivity dashboards, or labor management tools.
    • Experience developing training materials, SOPs, job aids, certification checklists, and skills assessments.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, depending on workforce needs.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Hourly rate range of $29 - $33 (based on experience and geographic area) + bonus and overtime potential
  • Project completion bonus equivalent to 20% of total salary paid upon meeting specific project milestones or the final delivery
