Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract Position

Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Openings: 3 Registered Nurses

Position Overview

The Contractor shall provide nursing services to patients of the Facility. The Registered Nurse performs complex patient care duties under the supervision of the Unit Nurse Manager, ensuring safe, compassionate, and effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and patient education.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation related to patient care and medication administration.
  • Perform computer data entry; training will be provided.
  • Support patient care operations in accordance with Facility policies and nursing standards.

Qualifications

  • Current license to practice nursing in Texas as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • At least 1 year of direct care nursing experience; 2 or more years preferred.
  • Mental health nursing experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.

Hiring Timeline

Submissions accepted now through November 30. Interviews conducted now through November 30. Hiring decisions may be made as early as October 1. Potential start dates: November 3 and December 1. Minimum 12-week contract required. All compliance requirements must be completed before the candidate can start. No exceptions.
