The OpportunityAre you a hands-on, analytically minded technician with an interest in the Construction field? Triangle Fastener Corporation is seeking an Engineering Assistant to join the team in our Cleveland, OH Tech Center. The Engineering Assistant is responsible for conducting product testing, collecting and documenting performance data, troubleshooting product issues, and supporting engineering efforts related to product development, quality assurance, and technical validation. What You'll DoProduct Testing & Validation
    Conduct mechanical, structural, and performance testing on products.

Data Collection & Documentation

    Record test results, measurements, observations, and environmental conditions as required.

Product Development Support

    Support Engineering with new product development and potential product offering projects.

Technical & Quality Support

    Assist with customer claim and field-performance investigations.

Product Testing Focus

Depending on business needs, testing assignments may include:

    Fastener pull-out, tensile, shear, torque, and installation-performance testing.Corrosion-resistance and coating evaluations.Sealant and accessory performance testing.Power-tool, installation-tool, and competitive product evaluations.
What You Bring to the Table

Experience

At least one year of product testing, laboratory, quality, manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering-support experienceExperience using mechanical testing equipment, measurement tools, and data-collection systems preferred


Education

Technical education, military training, apprenticeship, or relevant hands-on experience may be considered.


Associate's degree or above in an Engineering related field.


Additional Skills/Notes

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and test procedures.Working knowledge of laboratory practices and safe equipment operation.Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and related instruments.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and preparation of clear technical reports.Experience with CAD software is a plus.
