Job Duties: Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, data-intensive applications capable of processing millions of events per day with sub-second response times. Develop and optimize Python-based applications, including frameworks and services using Flask, FastAPI, and asynchronous programming (coroutines, multithreading, and multiprocessing). Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and server infrastructure to support real-time and batch processing workloads. Apply advanced system design principles, including multi-layer caching, read/write separation, connection pooling, batching, and event-driven architectures, to achieve high performance and scalability. Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, Compute Engine) and Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability and reliability. Build, configure, and maintain Redis clusters and other in-memory databases, including monitoring, failover, and performance optimization. Optimize and maintain Snowflake and Google BigQuery pipelines, including dynamic tables, materialized views, query performance, and cost efficiency. Enhance data platforms such as Hermes, Hades to expand alternative data use. Collaborate with investment teams on data driven solutions and share insights on emerging technologies to support innovation. Integrate with enterprise systems and protocols, including IMAP, Exchange, and other messaging protocols, to enable secure and reliable data access. Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and performance optimization initiatives to ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement improvements to ensure low-latency and high-throughput operations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and four (4) years of experience as an Associate or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Python development with knowledge of decorators, coroutines, iterators, multithreading, and asynchronous programming; Developing web applications using Flask and FastAPI; Cloud development including GCP and Azure services; Configuring and scaling production systems using Snowflake, Google BigQuery and Redis; Data-intensive application development including design pipelines and event-driven architecture; Networking protocols including TCP, UDP, QUIC, and TLS/SSL; and Multi-layer caching strategies including browser, CDN, application, and database infrastructures.

Salary: $146,000 - 170,000
