The Impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of IT Strategy & Business Management team, The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems. This role is for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to own the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-hosted applications. This role combines React front-end development with Python/FastAPI backend services, with responsibility for technical quality, performance, and end-to-end solution design.
The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead development of front-end applications using React, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Design and build high-throughput backend APIs using Python and FastAPI
  • Own end-to-end feature delivery across UI, backend services, and data layers
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, including support for Text-to-SQL workflows
  • Integrate applications with analytics and data platforms such as Snowflake
  • Drive containerized deployments using Docker and support routing with Nginx
  • Apply and promote best practices for security, performance, and reliability
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in architectural and code reviews
  • Collaborate with product, DevOps, and data teams to shape technical solutions

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:
  • 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with:
    • React (front-end development)
    • Python and FastAPI (backend services)
    • SQL and data integration
  • Experience deploying and operating containerized applications (Docker)
  • Experience working in cloud-hosted environments

Nice to Have
  • Experience with AWS EC2 or similar cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
