POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Full Stack Software Developer is responsible for Full-stack development, testing, and maintenance of CBO web applications and backend services. Builds features across ReactJS front-end and Python/FastAPI backend; manages PostgreSQL data models/migrations; containerizes with Docker and deploys to AWS (ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC). Operates in CBO trunk-based development (short-lived branches, feature flags, frequent merge), participates in sprint ceremonies and peer code review, writes automated tests (pytest, Jest/RTL), resolves defects/tech debt, and maintains technical documentation (API docs, ADRs, setup guides). Section 508-compliant UI.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to obtain a Federal Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated proficiency in core stack Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker;
  • Sufficient AWS familiarity to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-hosted apps. Desired (not primary):
  • CI/CD pipeline concepts and IaC tooling (Terraform, GitHub Actions) expected to write code that integrates into existing automated pipelines. Compliance: NIST 800-53 Rev 5, 800-171, FISMA.
