Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned repairs from work orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Conduct road tests and use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to evaluate vehicle systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot, service, and repair various vehicle systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC.
  • Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers updated on necessary repairs and provide accurate time estimates for any additional work.
  • Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Service Technician experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ASE or other OEM Certification required. (Eligible for transfer towards Ford Certification)
  • Mid-level technician skills, with experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise work
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and experience using computerized diagnostic tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with basic computer proficiency
  • Upbeat, team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous learning
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, ever-changing work setting
  • Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and repair procedures
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving
