Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material deliveries in accordance to site requirements and restrictions.
  • Review and analyze blueprints, specification lists and other relevant project documents to extract the scope of work and gain a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Prepare estimates and calculate material take-offs while working within established deadlines.
  • Work in tandem with our office, material suppliers, installation and shipping teams to ensure proper schedules are maintained.
  • Identify, track and assist in resolving issues arising on the job site and, when applicable in the fabrication shop.
  • Maintain detailed project records of ongoing projects and report to the Foreman and Supervisor for timely progress invoicing, production tracking, forecasting, daily productivity tracking etc.
  • Review site logistics as required.
  • Review, process, and track Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Maintain and update Excel tracking sheets.
  • Assist with QA/QC documentation and track deficiencies using various platforms such as Fieldwire, Procore, and Bluebeam.
  • Review project schedules and document changes to keep the project team informed.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bluebeam experience is preferred.
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn and implement, construction estimating software, AutoCAD, Plexxis, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project demands.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors and endure varying site conditions.
  • Ability to walk job sites for extended periods of time.
  • Experience with Bluebeam is preferred.
