Job description

At AIG, we are reimagining the way we help customers to manage risk. Join us as a Fast Track Claims Adjuster, Auto PD to play your part in that transformation. It's an opportunity to grow your skills and experience as a valued member of the team.
Make your mark in Fast Track Claims
Our Claims teams are the proven problem solvers of choice for clients, delivering consistent technical excellence and showcasing our service differentiation to create an unparalleled global claims handling experience. Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.
How you will create an impact
The role of a Fast-Track Claim Adjuster is to investigate, evaluate and resolve first and third-party auto liability claims, and occasionally minor injury claims and low complexity general liability losses. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims. This role is ideal for someone with prior insurance, automotive, or claims experience who is looking to grow a career in claims handling. The adjuster will work directly with policyholders, claimants, repair facilities, and vendors to provide timely and fair claim resolution while delivering strong customer service.
  • Investigate and manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through final resolution.
  • Review coverage, determine liability as applicable, and evaluate vehicle damages.
  • Coordinate inspections with repair facilities, appraisers, rental vendors, and customers.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal partners.
  • Review estimates, photographs, repair documentation, and total loss evaluations.
  • Negotiate settlements within authority limits and document claim activity accurately.
  • Monitor claim progress to ensure timely handling and compliance with company standards and state regulations.
  • Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Maintain productivity, quality, and customer service expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist customers through what can often be a stressful experience with empathy and professionalism.

What you will need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance claims, customer service, collision estimating, or related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of automobile repair processes and vehicle damage evaluation preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Comfortable using claims management systems and standard business software.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Property and casualty licenses required. Must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Ready to take your career to the next level? We would love to hear from you!
