Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Springfield, Illinois.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a busy cardiac catheterization department. The ideal candidate will have experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, strong sterile technique skills, and the ability to assist with complex cardiovascular interventions in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields for procedures
  • Perform equipment setup and procedural support
  • Monitor and recognize life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias
  • Assist with cardiac stent placements, PCI, PTCA, right and left heart catheterizations, and IABP procedures
  • Follow infection control and isolation precaution protocols
  • Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety throughout procedures

Requirements Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience Active ARRT and RCIS Certifications required BLS and ACLS Certifications required Cerner experience required Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cath Lab settings First-time travelers accepted Active license/certifications required at time of submission
