Food Production Associate – Richmond Hill, ON

Fuze HR is currently recruiting Food Production Associates for a leading food manufacturing facility located in Richmond Hill. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in food production, manufacturing, or fast-paced production environments who are looking for a long-term opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent role.

Position: Food Production Associate
Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Openings Available: 6 positions
Language Requirement: English
Work Environment: Cold production environment (approximately 1–4°C)

Available Shifts & Pay

Night Shift:
  • 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • $18.20/hour
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process food products in a manufacturing environment
  • Cut and prepare vegetables
  • Assist with rice preparation and cooking processes
  • Work efficiently on a production line
  • Lift and move bags of food products (including rice and vegetables) onto the production line
  • Follow food safety, quality, and production standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Support daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or production facility is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment (1–4°C)
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting food bags
  • Strong attendance and reliability are essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Must be comfortable standing for extended periods
Physical Requirements:
  • Medium to heavy lifting required
  • Regular handling of food products and production materials
Additional Requirements:
  • CSA-approved safety shoes required
  • No forklift certification required
