This is a Contracted position in the field of Production Coordinator / Project Management, located in New York, NY .

The Studio Manager serves as the operational backbone of the studio. This individual ensures that internal systems, logistics, financial tracking, scheduling, and team coordination operate seamlessly so that creative output remains elevated and uncompromised. The ideal candidate thrives in high-performance environments, anticipates needs before they arise, and brings structure to fast-moving, high-visibility projects. This is a strategic operations position.

ExperienceStudio Operations & Logistics
  • Oversee daily studio operations and workflow management
  • Manage calendars for fittings, pulls, returns, travel, press tours, and major events
  • Supervise shipping logistics, tailoring timelines, and inventory tracking
  • Maintain styling closet organization and digital inventory systems
  • Ensure fittings are fully prepped (racks, look boards, accessories, emergency kits)
Financial Oversight & Vendor Management
  • Track invoices and client billing
  • Reconcile expenses in coordination with accounting
  • Manage vendor payments (couriers, tailoring, assistants, freelance teams)
  • Identify and flag cost‑saving opportunities
Team & Project Management
  • Oversee assistants and freelance stylists

Client & Brand Liaison Support

  • Assist company CEO on other creative projects such as brand partnerships, social partnerships, collaborations, etc.
Systems & Infrastructure
  • Build and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Optimize digital systems and operational trackers
  • Develop scalable workflows to support growth
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in operations, production management, or creative studio management
  • Experience within fashion, entertainment, PR, or other high‑touch environments strongly preferred
  • Fashion market knowledge is a plus
  • Strong financial tracking and organizational skills
  • High emotional intelligence and absolute discretion
  • Calm under pressure and capable of managing high‑stakes and fast paced environments
