Compensation:ย The salary range for this position is estimated to be $49,208.00 - $89,931.00 annualized, which reflects the company's current estimate of the potential compensation range at the time of posting. This salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position and represents one component of the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, qualifications, and allotted budget. About Our Opportunity

The Closing Specialist is responsible for activities related to the preparation, review and processing of loan documentation by directing and performing the loan closing process. Team members in this role own and facilitate the workflow and communication details after loan approval to satisfy closing requirements, loan conditions, and meets customer needs.ย ย The Closing Specialist is responsible for compliance with all regulations and procedures from loan approval to loan certification. This role is expected to coordinate with team members to accommodate customer needs throughout the marketplace.

This role contributes independently to routine and recurring work with growing confidence and consistency. It applies established procedures, manages assigned responsibilities effectively, and collaborates with others to support business outcomes. Team members at this level are expanding functional knowledge, strengthening judgment, and developing problem-solving skills within defined parameters.

How You Will Spend Your Time
  • Creates a positive customer experience by delivering timely, and thorough service in a way that exceeds customer expectations while meeting internal and external deadlines.
  • Serves as primary contact for customer, vendors, partners, and peers. Recognize customer needs and is proficient in selling appropriate secondary products and services to customers.
  • Confirms requirements for title, appraisal, and any loan conditions.ย Facilitate the final stages of the lending process from loan approval to loan certification.
  • Adheres to all regulatory compliance requirements, gathers appropriate requirements and documentation to prepare accurate loan closing packages.ย Follow guidance in all process guides as appropriate for the role.
  • Assist with office coverage and serve as a backup to other roles.
  • Completes routine assignments independently using established procedures and sound judgment.
  • Applies working knowledge to resolve common issues and identifies when to seek guidance.
  • Communicates clearly with teammates and internal partners to support coordinated work.
  • Organizes workload to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, reliable outcomes.
  • Contributes ideas that strengthen processes, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Uses available tools and resources to resolve straightforward issues and improve confidence.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 years relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 1 year relevant experience preferred.ย
