Eight Orbit Urban Farms (EOUF) is a research-driven agri-tech startup using AI-powered technologies to address food security, climate change, and the inefficiencies of traditional farming across Africa. With Nigeria spending over $10B annually on food imports, we are developing large-scale, climate-smart greenhouse and open-field farms to produce staple crops such as tomatoes, pepper, rice, maize, and leafy greens.

Our Vision: To redefine farming in Africa with precision, sustainability, and innovationโ€”building the future of Agriculture and food systems.

Our Current Project

Initial project size: 1,500 hectares of land (scalable to 5,000 hectares)

Role Overview

EO U F is seeking an Impact Angel Investor / Co-Founder/ Strategic Partner to join our leadership team, who will:

  • Contribute pre-seed capital to significantly scale operations.
  • Represent and expand EOUFโ€™s vision on a global stage.
  • Provide expertise while guiding high-level strategy, growth, partnerships, and governance.
  • Drive resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and innovation.
  • Commit 10 hours per week to strategic leadership and collaboration.
  • Work mostly remotely almost 100 percent of the time.
Qualifications
  • Experience in investment and financial planning
  • Strong strategic thinking and business development skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a remote team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proven track record of successful strategic partnerships and capital investment
