Gladys' Kitchen at The Hub, Line Cook

Summary & Overview

Located on the grounds of the Walker Farm Theater in picturesque Weston, Vermont, Gladys' Kitchen at the Hub , is a 27-seat restaurant. Gladys' Kitchen is open for breakfast all day starting at 8am and lunch from 11-2. Our flexible dining space is also used for community and special events. The hallmark of the food is simple and delicious farmhouse fare, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. New hires are eligible for $500 signing bonus after 6 months. Employees who work 30+ hours qualify for medical and dental benefits.

  • Sets up station according to Chef’s guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Follows recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by the Chef without supervision
  • Restocks items as needed throughout shift.
  • Keeps a clean workstation
  • Uses/maintains and cleans all equipment in station properly
  • Assists with scrub down and organization of kitchen, refrigeration and storage areas, etc.
  • Conforms to Department of Health requirements to run an A-level kitchen
