Job description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Farm Hand to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This position is hands-on and involves caring for farm animals, maintaining the property, and helping with day-to-day farm operations.

Responsibilities

  • Feed and care for farm animals
  • Rabbit care
  • Manure management
  • General farm cleanup and maintenance
  • Move portable fencing
  • Move and handle animals as needed
  • Work independently as well as alongside other farm workers
  • Perform additional farm duties as needed, depending on the changing seasons and farm needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with farm animals is required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must live within 15 miles of the farm
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Comfortable with physical, outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Dependable and punctual
  • References required
  • Background check will be performed
