Job description

Farm Hand

Employment Type: Full Time Permanent

Shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm including every other weekend. Employees working a weekend shift will receive a weekday off in lieu.

Division: New-Life Mills Farms

Location: Moorefield, ON

Wage: $23.28/hr

The Role

We are seeking an Egg Packer to join our New-Life Mills Farm team. This role is responsible for responsible for day-to-day operations on the chicken farm.

Day to Day
  • Farm operations including animal care and poultry husbandry
  • Record-keeping (monitoring of equipment, feeders, etc.)
  • Mechanical, property and yard maintenance
  • Operating farm machinery including ventrac, tractor
  • Must adhere to all health and safety policies and practices
What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience in general labour
  • Experience in farming is an asset
  • Experience in operating tractors and other farming related equipment is an asset
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset
  • Ability to work some weekends and holidays and on call alarm coverage
