Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, ensuring operating rooms are prepared, patients are correctly positioned, and surgical instruments are handed off efficiently during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-and post-operative care, involving medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical services is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
