Job description

Overview

Do you like working directly with animals? If so, we have a great opportunity for you in our Pens Department. Our team goes through a vigorous training designed by Temple Grandin. The training we provide for all Pens Employees is centered on staff safety and animal welfare.

Responsibilities

Employees in this department will be receiving and unloading livestock from transportation and moving them into Harvest. Employees in this department also work outdoors and require standing, walking, pushing, pulling and work in different types of extreme weather conditions. This department also works 8 hours or more a day and can be physically demanding. All employees in this department are required to follow all guidelines associated with Animal Handling/Welfare.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift 70lbs. or more and must be able to cross train in different areas of the department.
