Responsibilities: This person will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and agronomic direction for Precision Agronomy Specialists, Crop Consultants, Local Agronomists, and interns in a region that consists of Boonville, Higginsville, Salisbury, Odessa, and Lexington, MO. They will lead the development, implementation, and growth of Crop-Trak and Nutri-Track programs while advancing precision agriculture, nutrient stewardship, and data-driven agronomic solutions. They will also serve as the primary technical resource for agronomy teams and retail locations by supporting training, technology adoption, sales execution, and customer success. Collaborates across agronomy, sales, operations, and research to drive business growth, improve service delivery, and develop high-performing agronomy professionals. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

Encouraging Growth: We support your growth through cross-training in Agri-Service areas, fostering new skills for additional support.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor Precision Agronomy Specialists, Crop-Trak consultants, local agronomists, and interns within the assigned territory.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain agronomy consulting and precision agriculture talent.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead development and implementation of Crop-Trak and Nutri-Track programs.
  • Drive sales execution and customer adoption of agronomic service offerings.
  • Provide agronomic recommendations and technical expertise to retail locations, consultants, and sales personnel.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Agronomy or other agricultural degree or 5-10 years of crop consulting or agronomy related experience preferred
  • CCA Certification preferred
  • Strong agronomy background
