Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking either aPrincipal Facilities Engineer (Level 3) orSenior Principal Facilities Engineer (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located onsiteinClearfield, UT. This position will support the9/80A schedule.
Note: This is an individual contributor role that can be filled at either level.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of manufacturing and operational equipment. This role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime while supporting production goals, quality standards and cost objectives.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and improve equipment reliability and performance.
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and quality teams to optimize processes.
Scheduling contractors and give provide SOW.
Taking ownership of equipment - writing PM plans, responsible for critical spare parts.
Creating and working RCCA
Annual E-FMEA on assigned equipment.
Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills being that this position is cross functional and engages other team members.
Being responsible for communication for machine downtime (RCCA).
Support operations IPT.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Facilities Engineer (Level 3):
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 3 years of relevant experience; OR PhD STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 1 year of relevant experience.
Must have experience in one of the following areas: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Electronics, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, and/or Aerospace.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S.Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Facilities Engineer (Level 4):
