Job description

In this role you will be?responsible for

Overview: As an Automation Controls Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and optimizing advanced manufacturing systems. You’ll collaborate across engineering and production teams to develop, program, and maintain high-performance automation solutions using cutting-edge robotics and control technologies. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking engineer passionate about smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and scalable automation. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.

• Program and integrate industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Yamaha) for material handling, assembly, and inspection tasks.

• Develop and maintain PLC logic using modern platforms such as Rockwell Automation (Studio 5000).

• Troubleshoot and optimize machine control systems to improve reliability, throughput, and safety.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation standards and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

• Utilize simulation and modeling tools to validate control strategies and robotic paths before deployment.

• Implement and support industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and OPC UA.

• Integrate vision systems, barcode scanners, and sensor arrays for intelligent automation and quality control.

What is required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
