Wieland is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician . The CNC Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping CNC machines running safely and by performing routine upkeep, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing broken parts to reduce factory downtime. This role is located in Coldwater, Ohio and will be fully on-site. 

Starting Pay: $29.31

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:00PM-3:00AM

Pay Schedule: Weekly


CNC Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
  • Identify and replace parts as necessary.
  • Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed.
  • Complete planned and preventative procedures.
  • Work is based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
  • Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
  • Other duties as required.

CNC Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
  • Experience repairing and testing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of CNC Maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with CNC control systems (such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma) and basic Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills to run multiple software applications, such as Excel, Word, Notes, etc.
