Key responsibilities

  • Build and develop the executives' thought-leadership platform by identifying key moments and industry events for leadership visibility.

  • Translate business strategy and product milestones into narratives and create high-impact content to reinforce company positioning.

  • Manage corporate social channels, develop storytelling across various departments, and prepare executives for industry events and high-stakes moments.

Job description

PrizePicks is seeking a Director of Executive & Corporate Communications to shape how our leadership team shows up in the world. You'll be the strategic partner for our senior executives - turning business strategy into compelling narratives, preparing leaders for high-stakes moments, and making sure the PrizePicks' team is part of the conversation happening across sports gaming, daily fantasy, and prediction markets.

What you'll do:
  • Build our executives' thought-leadership platform from the ground up - identifying the moments where our leaders should have a point of view - including industry events.
  • Turn business strategy and product milestones into narratives - defining the two or three ideas each leader should be known for, and build a high-impact content plan around them.
  • Create compelling executive-authored owned content - LinkedIn posts, bylines, newsletters, digital assets and blog posts - writing in each leader's voice to reinforce the company's strategy, culture and reputation.
  • Own PrizePicks' corporate social channels, including LinkedIn and PrizePicks News on X, to develop a cadence of stories that drive engagement and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Collaborate with other departments across PrizePicks, as well as members of the communications team, including policy & product, brand & growth and internal communications - to develop compelling corporate stories to increase our share of voice.ย
  • Work closely with the CCO and the communications team to prepare executives for conferences, investor and partner organizations and industry events.
  • Keep a close eye on the competitive and regulatory landscape, and use those developments to sharpen what our leaders say.
  • Track what's actually landing - which posts, ideas, and formats build our thought leadership - and use it to sharpen the plan, not just produce more content.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across earned, owned, executive and corporate channels.
  • Establish communications processes, editorial planning, and governance that improve consistency, collaboration and execution.
  • This is a highly specialized, individual contributor role with no direct reports.
What you have:
  • 10+ years in communications, with meaningful experience in executive and corporate communications, especially counseling an executive leadership team.
  • Experience operating inside a regulated, high-growth industry - where the news cycle moves fast and the stakes are real.
  • A track record of turning business objectives into compelling narratives.ย
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple executive formats.ย
  • Sound judgment under pressure. You've drafted a statement on a tight deadline before and know the difference between fast and reckless.
  • Strong news judgment and a real interest in the categories PrizePicks competes in - you should already have opinions on how this industry is evolving.
  • The ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, setting strategy, influencing without authority and delivering personally where required.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience in sports gaming, daily fantasy sports, or prediction markets.
  • Experience supporting an executive through a major public moment.
Where you'll live:
  • This is a hybrid position based at our PrizePicks headquarters in Atlanta, GA. #LI-Hybrid
