This inpatient opportunity serves a 30-bed unit, including 4 beds tailored for medical/psychiatric care. Become part of a reputable and long-standing medical practice that has built a strong foundation in the community, attracting a wide network of referring physicians and satisfied patients.

BayCare Health System is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization located throughout five counties on the central Gulf Coast of Florida with a network comprised of 16 hospitals with services including imaging, lab, behavioral health, home health care and urgent care. Our priority is connecting patients to a complete range of preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services for any healthcare need, throughout their lifetime.

We are the largest full-service, community-based healthcare system in the Tampa Bay area and offer a variety of services in Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and Polk counties. There is a lot to do and see including LEGOLAND® Florida Resort, Bok Tower Gardens, and Fantasy of Flight. Polk County has year-round recreation weather to enjoy over fifty-five lakes— many of them canal-connected— making it the “Chain of Lakes City” and allowing countless hours of water-themed fun. There are miles of nature trails, cycling paths, parks, and acres of golf courses to keep you active and engaged.

In Polk County, you’ll find a growing business sector, a thriving economy, and an average median age of 40. The area is also an affordable place to live with a low cost of living index and no state income tax. Additionally, the area offers many local colleges and universities for educational development.
