We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position at Live Freely Psychological Health Center. This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing you to work comfortably from your own home while remaining part of a collaborative, experienced team. Our outpatient office facilitates seamless communication and support among therapists and staff, enhancing your ability to render effective and timely care. With a regular work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate client needs.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your role will entail a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy sessions that cater to the specific needs of clients.
• Assessing clients’ challenges and strengths through detailed evaluations to collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and family systems therapy, to guide clients towards achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Maintaining consistent communication and collaboration with other mental health professionals within the organization to deliver holistic care.
• Documenting client progress meticulously, following ethical guidelines to ensure confidentiality and trust.

Your work will primarily focus on diverse populations, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competence and understanding. To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices.
• Experience in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing tailored treatment plans to meet diverse client needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

While not mandatory, the following attributes will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience working in an outpatient setting with a significant caseload.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation best practices.
