Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager

The Restaurant General Manager (GM) must bring a positive attitude to work every day and set high standards for everyone on their team. Our restaurant general manager must be able to delegate with enthusiasm, promote new ideas and fresh perspective. Interpersonal skills and guest relations will be required to handle and resolve staff and guest conflicts effectively. The restaurant general manager will know how to create a strong and efficient team and guide them towards our common goals of exceptional customer service and consistent culinary excellence. The restaurant general manager (GM) must be able to balance their administrative obligations, handling the finances and P&L of the restaurant, while building sales and profits through marketing and advertising.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years current experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high volume (over $2m per year in sales) full service or fast casual concept
  • Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community is a vital part of the Restaurant General Manager role
  • The GM must show strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on experience hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
  • Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Restaurant General Manager candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
