Job description

The Sr. Manager of Team Member Experience & Engagement (TMEE) at Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus serves as a strategic Human Resources partner responsible for team member and labor relations, workplace investigations, team member engagement, compliance, and retention initiatives. This role supports leaders and team members by providing guidance on employment-related matters while fostering an engaging and inclusive work environment.

  • Available to work various shifts and a flexible schedule

  • Previous team member, labor and union relations experience strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of team member and labor laws required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems such as Workday, Oracle, UKG, or similar platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels in the organization

  • Demonstrates organizational and planning skills

  • Program management skills including managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track and following through to completion

  • Demonstrates ability to go beyond the scope of a project to understand business strategy and highlight opportunities where we can add more value

  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

  • Ability to use deductive reasoning and analytical/critical thinking when working with departments on investigations, including sensitive issues such as harassment and/or violence

  • Demonstrates highest level of confidentiality and professionalism

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or business-related field, preferred

  • Certificate/License: PHR or SPHR preferred but not necessary

  • Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, investigations, and leadership responsibilities required. Experience in a hotel, hospitality, gaming, or casino environment strongly preferred

  • Read, write and communicate verbally in English and Spanish strongly preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must work on-site full time

  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

  • Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment 

  • Must be able to maneuver around office and property

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds 

  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job 

  • Office environment may include variable temperature and lighting levels

  • Casino environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • Demonstrates commitment, adherence, and alignment to Caesars Entertainment's mission vision and values in all interactions and decisions
  • Ensures timely and thorough case management
  • Assists management in identifying and resolving employment-related questions/concerns while maintaining and respecting confidential information

  • Conducts and oversees workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, and other sensitive matters, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

  • Ensures compliance and completion of ADA interactive and accommodation process and manages worker's compensation claims
  • Promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion and drives Company culture through engaging activities
  • Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and preparing clear documentation, findings, and recommendations.

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates team member engagement, recognition, and retention programs that support company culture and improve the overall employee experience

  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements.

  • Analyzes engagement, retention, turnover, attendance, and employee relations data to identify trends and recommend solutions that support business objectives.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration by interacting with all levels of team members and act as the bridge between Human Resources, Operations, and all stakeholders

  • Counsels team members on corporate benefits, salary, union affiliation (if applicable) and corporate environment

  • Coordinates and executes special events initiated by Human Resources

  • Directly supervises the TMEE Specialists and HR Coordinator
  • Provides training, education and counseling to the TMEE Specialists on HR practices, policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Conducts performance reviews and coaching conversations

  • Develops team goals and priorities

  • Monitor workloads and ensure service delivery standards

  • Mentors and develops HR staff

  • All other duties as assigned
