Job description

Position Summary: The Cyber Operations Lead will provide senior-level cyberspace policy, planning, analysis, and operational
integration support to the National Guard Bureau (NGB) J3/4/7 Cyberspace Operations Division. This
position supports NGB cyber governance, readiness, exercises, working groups, and senior leader
decision-making across strategic and operational cyber initiatives. The ideal candidate combines a strong
cybersecurity background with demonstrated experience supporting DoD or National Guard cyber strategy
and operations. Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance REQUIRED Position Requirements
 Strong cybersecurity and cyberspace operations background.
 Demonstrated experience supporting cyber strategy, policy development, and operational planning.
 Experience conducting cyber gap assessments, capability analyses, and cyber readiness
assessments.
 Experience supporting cyberspace working groups, governance forums, planning sessions, and senior-
level meetings.
 Ability to analyze strategic, operational, and tactical cyber requirements and translate complex
information into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
 Experience developing executive summaries, information papers, decision-support products, briefings,
reports, and senior leader presentations.
 Experience supporting cyber exercises and operational cyber integration.
 Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders in a DoD or military
environment.
 Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
 National Guard Bureau, Army National Guard, Air National Guard, State Joint Force Headquarters, or
other relevant DoD cyber experience preferred. Education
 Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, National Security, or
a related field.
 Master’s degree preferred. Certifications and Training
 Relevant cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent.
 Cyber strategy, policy, operational planning, or cyber exercise training/experience preferred.
