Job description

Job Summary
This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, work instructions contained in the quality management system. Also, Responsible for exercising the disposition of material placed in the "Material Review Bay" as well as a resource to Plant personnel as trainer on quality system documents and record keeping duties to show compliance to system requirements.

We are hiring a QAR for 1st shift starting at $25.96 per hour
1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm
**Candidates must be local to the CLE area, no relocation or spnsorship options are available for this role.**
Key Accountabilities:
  • Document and data control oversight in Plant, ownership and maintenance of measurement devices, corrective and preventive actions and their follow-ups, oversight of quality records held in Plant, process auditing for compliance to procedures, implementing statistical control of equipment and processes.
  • Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material.
  • QAR does not own responsibility for all Plant training; QAR will act as trainer on quality department documents
  • Responsible to ensure proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Good written and verbal skills are required. QAR must be detail oriented to the requirements of our Quality Management System. Quality system training is preferred, but not required. Desire for additional formal training should exist.
  • Must have rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Should have exposure to a fast paced warehouse environment, and be comfortable with short task completion expectations. Ability to work with a diversified work force required. Ability to effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers required.
  • Formal quality training is preferred, but not required. Additional training as determined by the Quality Supervisor.

Preferred Requirements:
  • ASQ certification
  • 3 years Quality Assurance/Control experience
  • Experience or training in ISO9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards
