• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based tools and methodologies.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's goals and challenges, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using a variety of therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering support and resources to clients in distress.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
• Engage in professional development by participating in supervision and training opportunities, ensuring your skills remain current and effective.
• Adhere to ethical practices and standards as defined by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our outpatient focus means you will engage with individuals, families, and groups needing support for various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their journeys toward improved mental health and life satisfaction.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in New York (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic proficiency, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client engagement and collaboration with coworkers.

• The ability to operate independently yet thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• At least three years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Experience in a telehealth setting will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, and other modalities.

Faith and Hope Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary structure, we provide:
