    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a Quality Inspector who utilizes state-of-the-art tools and techniques to ensure products meet manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. This role focuses on objective, instrument-based testing that generates accurate data for evaluation.

    What can you expect to do?

  • Product Inspection: Conduct quality inspections on electronic components and related products to verify compliance with required standards.

  • Testing & Verification: Utilize advanced inspection tools, equipment, and methodologies to confirm products meet customer specifications and quality expectations.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record inspection results, supporting data, and evidence within Velocity’s ERP system.

  • Visual Evidence Preparation: Capture and organize photographic documentation to support inspection findings and quality records.

  • Quality Coordination: Collaborate with Quality Managers to ensure all requested inspections and tests are completed accurately and on time.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Communicate and explain inspection results to Quality Managers and, when necessary, partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.


What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of Experience handling electronic components and/or inspection/quality assurance

  • Working knowledge of handling electronic components within an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

  • Basic photography and photo editing skills

  • Familiarity with basic failure analysis methodologies, such as decapsulation, solder testing, and basic electrical or functional testing (preferred).

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
