Quality Inspector I – Optics

Location: Tualatin, OR
Pay: $22.00 - 26.00 +/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st and 2nd shift

If you have manufacturing or quality inspection experience and enjoy working in a hands-on environment, we'd like to hear from you.

We are seeking a Quality Inspector I to support quality inspection operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll inspect precision components, verify product quality, and help ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications.

What You'll Do
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections on manufactured parts
  • Use precision measuring equipment and inspection tools to verify product quality
  • Inspect optical components and assist with collimator setup
  • Identify and document nonconforming material while working with the Quality team to resolve issues
  • Complete inspection records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with fixture and gauge validation
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other metrology tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Oracle or Agile experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
