Class and Grade
This position is available exclusively to currently enrolled SJR State students and pays $15 per hour.
Position Summary
This position requires a FAFSA on file and is available only to current SJR State students who are eligible for student employment during the current semester. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must successfully pass employment verification, reference screening, and a background check. This position is not eligible for Veteran's Preference.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Create engaging social media content that highlights the SJR State student experience.
• Share campus life, activities, and events from a student perspective.
• Attend and document campus events through photos, videos, and social media content.
• Promote SJR State programs, activities, and campus experiences in a positive and authentic manner.
• Collaborate with College staff to develop content that supports SJR State's social media and marketing efforts.
• Represent SJR State professionally when interacting with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Current SJR State student eligible for student employment.
• FAFSA must be on file.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable creating and appearing in social media content.
