Our premium brand, performance-defining products and systems are used primarily on bicycles, side-by-side vehicles, on-road vehicles with and without off-road capabilities, off-road vehicles and trucks, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, specialty vehicles and applications, motorcycles, and commercial trucks. Some of our products are specifically designed for and marketed to a variety of leading cycling and powered vehicle original equipment manufacturers ("OEMs"), while others are distributed to consumers through a global dealer and distribution network. Fox Factory Holding Corp. is the holding company of FOX Factory, Inc. and is publicly traded (FOXF) on Nasdaq.

Position Summary:

Fabricates complex metallic and nonmetallic parts, and fits and assembles machined parts into complete units, applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques, operating conventional, special-purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Verifies conformance of processes or work piece to specifications.
  • Assesses specifications, blueprints, sketAssesses specifications, blueprints, sketches, or descriptions to determine machine settings, tolerances, and adjustments.ch, or description to determine machine settings, tolerances, and adjustments.
  • Checks materials prior to processing to assure they meet specifications.
  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
  • Sets up and operates metalworking machine tools, such as a lathe, milling machine, shaper, or grinder, to machine parts to specifications.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
  • Verifies dimensions with measuring instruments, such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
  • Maintains safe operations byadhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:

  • Good working knowledge of machinist functional and technical skills, controls a,nd instrumentation
  • Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings and notes
  • Effective time management and organizational skills

Position Qualifications:

Education:

HS graduate or equivalent required

Experience:

1+ years of prior machinist experience preferred

Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
