About the Role:
J H Metal Finishing is looking for a motivated and hardworking Factory General Help team member to join our production floor in New Britain, CT. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a hands-on manufacturing environment and build a lasting career in metal finishing. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of a dedicated team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general production tasks on the factory floor to support daily manufacturing operations
  • Load and unload parts and materials for metal finishing processes
  • Support finishing technicians with plating, coating, or surface treatment operations
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and ensure they meet production standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety guidelines
  • Move materials and finished goods throughout the facility using proper handling techniques
  • Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to a team-oriented production environment
Requirements:
  • Prior manufacturing, factory, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to chemicals and machinery
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up and contributing every shift
