Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate for our 1st shift.

Starting pay range of $17.00-19.00/hour working 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving, unloading deliveries, verifying items against purchase orders or packing lists, inspecting for damage or discrepancies, and properly storing received goods.
  • Shipping, preparing items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and creating necessary documentation (e.g., packing slips, bills of lading).
  • Documentation, Preparing and maintaining shipping and receiving records, including tracking information and any required paperwork for customs or other regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, potentially operating forklifts or other equipment for material handling, and adhering to safety procedures.
  • Effectively communicating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams is essential for coordinating shipments and resolving issues.
  • Addressing discrepancies, damages, or other issues that arise during the shipping and receiving process.
  • Utilizing software for inventory management, shipping documentation, and communication.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year related experience or training.
  • Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
