Job Responsibilities
  • To report to the Production Supervisor - Machine Division and communicate all matters or concerns pertaining to the painting area.
  • To ensure required types and colors of paint are available in the work area as well as associated materials.
  • To load/unload materials on the line as scheduled by the Production Supervisor and/ or Painter on shift.
  • To move material on conveyor belt through the chemical wash to the spray booth.
  • To ensure safety, product quality, productivity standards and cost-efficiency objectives are met
  • To organize parts be assembled at Crating operation
  • to follow directions of the primary crater operator
  • to prepare all sub-components to the crating operation
  • To obtain production ticket (traveler) prior to the commencement of operation, complete the ticket in an accurate manner and place the ticket at completion in the parts bin/racks 
  • To comply with Factory specification for first-piece check through contact with Quality Assurance Inspector.
  • To maintain spray booth and equipment in good condition in accordance with established procedure.
  • To continually meet company housekeeping and safety requirements, to identify and report any safety hazards within the plant, meet all WHMIS objectives and standards ensuring that all safety procedures are met.
  • To ensure the correct use and maintenance of tooling equipment and supplies
  • Abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric's Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of natural resources and the Health & Safety of all employees
  • To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Production Supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
Job Requirements
Education Skills and Aptitude:    
  • Tow Motor License - Propane and Electric.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • SAP knowledge is an asset
Minimum Experience Requirement: 
  • More than 3 months but less than 6
  • Counter Balance Forklift Operator License
