Job description

We are seeking a self-motivated and dependable individual who can follow instructions, work efficiently, and take pride in producing quality cabinetry components. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their skills in cabinet manufacturing.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport materials to and from the CNC machine.
  • Read and interpret cabinet designs, shop drawings, and blueprints.
  • Monitor and oversee CNC machine operation during daily production.
  • Operate the edgebander and inspect finished components for quality.
  • Check jobs to ensure they are production-ready before processing.
  • Verify materials, dimensions, and job details for accuracy.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area.
  • Assist with cabinet production and assembly as needed.
  • Learn additional shop processes and responsibilities, including drawer manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CNC machines, edgebanders, or woodworking equipment is an asset.
  • Cabinet building and assembly experience is preferred.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
