Job description

This position is responsible for operating vehicles to transport parts, as well as Turf, Small Ag, and Construction equipment for the dealership. Home daily.
Responsibilities:
  • Transports parts, small equipment, supplies, and paperwork between dealer facilities; may also deliver to customers.
  • Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory.
  • Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
  • Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy.
  • Maintains assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition.
  • Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
  • Assists parts department with stock orders, pulling orders, and transfers.
  • Assists in lot and building maintenance along with keeping the parts department and warehouse clean and organized.
  • Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
  • 1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Class A CDL License required
  • Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience

Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
