General Manager – Wagyu Factory Tustin

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and responsible General Manager to join our team at Wagyu Factory Tustin. This role is a key part of our front of house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Employment Details

• Hiring Entity: Wagyu Factory Tustin LLC
• Work Location: 2415 Park Ave, Tustin, CA 92782
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
• Annual Salary: $60,000 – $72,000 + Bonus (total earnings may exceed $120,000), subject to applicable federal, state, and local tax withholdings.

• Start Date: Upon onboarding completion. All required pre-employment notices and documents will be provided at or before the start date, as required by law.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service, quality control, and adherence to company standards
• Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address feedback, and resolve concerns with professionalism and urgency
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain optimal stock and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu consistency and uphold food quality standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and maintain a clean and secure environment
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, labor scheduling, and cost control
• Implement strategies to increase revenue and enhance customer loyalty
• Lead shift operations, including daily decision making, scheduling, planning

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant, preferably with BBQ or Japanese cuisine
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail
• Passion for providing top-tier service and creating a memorable dining experience
• Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
