We are currently seeking a Senior Production Associate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Daily email correspondence to all departments within TKG as well as factories and agents involved with current garment production
  • Confer with Material master team to ensure all styles/colors are in the system
  • Confer with textile team to ensure all fabrications are confirmed by design
  • Attend sales meeting to review styles/units/colors after market
  • Negotiate chases, drops and revised units/fabric needs with sales and the factory base
  • Work with costing, textile design and tech to ensure on time deliveries
  • Maintain status and report of fabric liabilities by season, range and value
  • Check on yields with marking and grading department and factories to confirm overall fabric consumption and work with textile team on fabric received at factory to ensure all sales/booked units are covered
  • Adjust units bases on booked units, confirmed yields and fabric received at factory to ensure all sales/booked units are covered
  • Negotiate discount and shipping terms with factories if production runs late
  • Confirm new or updated buy plans from Sales, as well as helping to ensure that all involved parties are informed of/and clear on, the latest requests from Sales
  • Create, issue revise and send unit distros to the factories when necessary
  • Working in settling all issues involving the Textile and /or Trim Departments and involve Director of Production when necessary
  • Attend and prepare for all status, costing sales and in warehouse meetings and inform the rest of the Production team of all new issues, updates and changes.
  • Issue and revise both US and Canada purchase orders when needed
  • Work to guarantee that all delivery matters are properly agreed upon and that all confirmed delivery dates are met by the parties involved
  • Make sure that all problems and issues that arise during the production process are dealt with and resolved in a timely manner and assuring that all required steps are carried out by the departments involved and involving Director of Production when necessary
  • Discuss all ship methods and shipping terms with the factory agents
  • Verify that all information in RLM for both US and kept up-to-date with all recent amendments and modifications
  • Format sizing by style in Trade weave on styles to be cut to ensure booked units are covered
  • Conduct monthly shipping meeting with sales using in-Warehouse report
  • Follow-up with factories and tech department on pre-production sample status
  • Meet with tech team to follow-up with status of fit and PPS
  • Create and maintain bi-weekly PPS report and review with director of production
  • Request Ad and ecommerce samples required by sales and design teams
  • Advise allocations if styles are running late so garments may be expedited upon arrival at the warehouse
  • Assess WIP charts from factories and advise of any potential problems
  • Review ASN and process comments from the factories
  • General problem solving with all departments, factories and agents
  • Complete special assignments whenever necessary
