Summary:
Assists patients with menu selections and meal service based on the physician-ordered diet parameters.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with assigned nursing units to enhance the patient experience.Assembles patient meal trays based on menu selections made in compliance with the patients dietary requirements and restrictions.Assists with patient/guest satisfaction initiatives. Resolves, refers, and/or reports service quality issues as appropriate.Ensures that patient meal process is completed in accordance with time expectations.Helps patients to make menu selections that comply with their dietary requirements and restrictions.Receives and responds to phone calls regarding patient and guest meal orders. Maintains and documents food preferences, diet orders and food allergies.
