Facilities & Mail Services Associate

Position Summary

Provides facilities support and office services to maintain a clean, safe, and productive workplace. Responsibilities include office maintenance, meeting room setups, minor repairs, inventory management, mail distribution, and general office support. Reports to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and arrange conference and meeting rooms.
  • Support employee and office moves within assigned facilities.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, including patching, painting, light carpentry, fixture installation, and lamp replacement.
  • Maintain office cleanliness through tasks such as trash removal, restocking break rooms and restrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
  • Monitor and replenish office supply inventories.
  • Sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, faxes, and office supplies.
  • Provide general clerical, delivery, and office support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of facilities, maintenance, custodial, mailroom, or office services experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and required insurance coverage may be needed based on site requirements.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to safely operate basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Able to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials, equipment, and furniture weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Regular use of hand tools, postage equipment, and other office-related machinery.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment with routine interaction with employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
